At the scene of an accident in the Tula region, from where two people were hospitalized, police officers found a hamster that apparently belonged to one of the victims. But the animal was not left to fend for itself: while the mistress was being treated, the hamster took refuge in the local traffic police department, Tula media report.
The hamster was found on the Tula - Lipetsk highway at the scene of a traffic accident, as a result of which a resident of Lipetsk, the owner of the animal, was hospitalized.
When she finished treatment, the traffic police handed her a hamster, who lived at the time in the police station.
